Established in 1959, the Altona Fire Department is committed to serving approximately 3,000 residents in the Town of Altona. With a team of 27 dedicated volunteers, we also offer 24/7 paid EMS services at the Advanced Life Support (ALS) level, responding to over 400 emergency calls each year. Since 1878, the AuSable Forks Fire Department has been a pillar of the community, covering 107 square miles and providing mutual aid.
